We got the absolute honor to partner with Wes Anderson and his team to create a camera collection fit with a custom case and filters to celebrate the premier of Anderson's new film Asteroid City starring many familiar faces such as Margot Robbie, Scarlet Johansson, Tom Hanks, and so many more!

After collaborating back and forth, the custom camera design that was decided upon is inspired by a film camera one of the characters is holding in the movie. Here is the front and back of the camera and what the Wes Anderson filter function card looks like (examples of the photos taken with the Wes Anderson filter are below).

 

 

As part of the promotion for the film, the team at Asteroid City ordered 270 custom cameras and filter packs to add to their PR packages. They chose 60 of those cameras to sell on the Focus Features website along with other merchandise for the Asteroid City movie. We’re doing our own super-limited drop on June 23rd with the case along with a filter pack as a way to celebrate the film and it’s release date on Friday June 23, 2023.

One of the custom Wes Anderson cameras actually got to attend the Asteroid City Premier with our friend Mark Mann, a celebrity photographer who was invited to the premier and who we've partnered with in the past. Here are just a few photos he got with the Paper Shoot Camera of the celebrities who attended the event. He even got a camera into the hands of Jason Schwartzman!
